This decision follows observations from our testing of the DoQ beta implementation in Knot Resolver 6. To ensure consistent service performance, we are pausing DoQ while we analyze the telemetry and work on further stability configurations.

We are reviewing the data from the Knot Resolver 6 beta deployment and intend to restore DoQ service once the necessary adjustments are complete. If...

Information notice DNS4EU Resolver in Poland intentionally taken out of service
[Information]

Multiple authoritative servers started rejecting queries from the DNS4EU resolver located in Poland. To prevent resolution problems, we decided to remove this resolver from the anycast network. DNS queries are automatically being rerouted to the next available resolver in other EU countries.

Impact

  • DNS resolution is not impacted.
  • Slightly increased latency for queries originating from Poland.
